How to Assemble this Dimensional Paper Accent…
Things You’ll Need:
- Glamorous Gal set
- Liquid craft glue
We like using clear Elmer’s glue. - Craft tweezers
Additional Supplies (Optional):
These items are purely optional and simply allow you to take the design to the next level!
- Adhesive foam pieces for extra dimension
- Ink pads and brushes for shading
- Glitter
- Accents such as rhinestones, pearls, etc.
Important Notes:
*The colors and patterns of the pieces will vary from set to set based on paper availability.
*This set contains small pieces! Not intended for use by small children.
*Use ink pads and brushes to lightly shade the pieces in this set before assembling to give the finished design extra dimension.
Let’s Get Started!
Step 1:
Glue the shirt piece onto the body piece, aligning the bottom edges of the pieces.
Glue the necklace piece onto the body piece around the neck area.
Step 2:
Glue the face piece onto the body piece over the head area.
Glue the eyebrow pieces into the matching openings of the face piece.
Glue the closed eye pieces into the matching opening of the face piece.
Glue the lips piece onto the face piece below the nose.
Helpful tip: Use craft tweezers to make picking up and placing these small facial feature pieces a little bit easier!
Step 3:
How you decide to use the sunglasses piece is up to you! Here are four options:
– Glasses on face: Glue the glasses frames onto the face without adding the lens pieces.
– Sunglasses on face: Glue the glasses frames onto the face then glue the lens pieces inside the frames.
– Glasses on head: Glue the glasses frames (without adding the lens pieces) onto the head after Step 4.
– Glasses on head: Glue the glasses frames onto the head after Step 4, then glue the lens pieces inside the frames.
Step 4:
Glue the centers inside the flower petal pieces, matching the larger center with the larger flower and the smaller centers with the smaller flowers.
Arrange the assembled flowers atop the head to form a colorful design then glue in place.
Helpful tip: Use craft tweezers to make picking up and placing these tiny flower center pieces a little bit easier!
