How to Assemble this Dimensional Paper Accent…
Things You’ll Need:
- Topsy-Turvy Cakes set
- Liquid craft glue
We like using clear Elmer’s glue. - Craft tweezers
Additional Supplies (Optional):
These items are purely optional and simply allow you to take the design to the next level!
- Adhesive foam pieces for extra dimension
- Ink pads and brushes for shading
- Glitter
- Accents such as rhinestones, pearls, etc.
Important Notes:
*The colors and patterns of the pieces will vary from set to set based on paper availability.
*This set contains small pieces! Not intended for use by small children.
*Use ink pads and brushes to lightly shade the pieces in this set before assembling to give the finished design extra dimension.

Let’s Get Started!
Step 1:
Glue the large angled cake piece to the scalloped cake plate piece.
Glue three star pieces and two dot pieces onto the tier in the matching openings.
Glue two straight icing line pieces onto the tier above the stars and dots.
Glue the long icing piece (with sprinkle holes) onto the top of the assembled tier.
Helpful tip: Use craft tweezers to make picking up and placing these small pieces a little bit easier!

Step 2:
Glue the middle angled cake piece under the assembled cake so that it rests on the bottom tier.
Glue the thin wavy icing piece and three dot pieces onto the middle tier at the marked area.
Glue the thin bumpy icing piece onto the middle tier at the top.
Helpful tip: Use craft tweezers to make picking up and placing these small pieces a little bit easier!

Step 3:
Glue the small top angled cake piece under the assembled cake so that it rests on the middle tier.
Glue the tiny straight icing piece onto the top tier at the top.
Glue the candle piece under the assembled cake so that it rests on the top tier.
Glue the wand pieces under the assembled cake on the corner of the bottom tier and also beside the candle.

Step 4:
Glue the large level cake piece to the cake plate piece.
Glue the thin bumpy icing line piece onto the tier at the bottom.
Glue the swag icing line pieces onto the tier at the marked area.
Glue the long icing piece (with wavy lines) onto the top of the assembled tier.

Step 5:
Glue the middle level cake piece under the assembled cake so that it rests on the bottom tier.
Glue the thin wavy icing piece onto the middle tier at the marked area.
Glue the thin bubbly icing piece onto the middle tier at the top.

Step 6:
Glue the small top level cake piece (with lattice holes) on top of the solid rectangular piece of the same size
Glue the assembled top tier under the assembled cake so that it rests on the middle tier.
Glue the tiny straight icing piece onto the top tier at the top.

Step 7:
Glue the heart piece on top of the candle piece, aligning the bottom edges of both pieces. Glue two flower pieces and two greenery pieces in front on the heart. Glue the assembled decoration so that it rests on the top tier.
Glue the remaining two flower pieces and two greenery pieces onto the bottom tier so that they rest just above the cake plate.
