3/3/2015 – In our mailbox today was a small white envelope. As soon as we saw “Guyana” in the return address, we knew that this was our very first letter from an Operation Christmas Child shoebox recipient! Excitedly, we ran inside and gathered everyone together. Carefully opening the envelope, we pulled out a folded piece of notebook paper with a small boy’s handwriting on it. His one letter brought us as much joy as our shoebox surely gave to him!
Remember to include a letter in your shoebox with your address so that the child can write you back!
